1. This is one of two accounts I have. I use the other a little more, but not, like, OODLES OF ART or anything. I kinda like to keep the two accounts separate from eachother, because I'm thinking of using the other account as my fun, happy comic account that I show to my friends, and use this one as a deeper, more political/philosophical/whatever gallery so I don't have to be paranoid about offending everyone. Because I'm one of those silly people who worries about stuff like that.

2. I've become a bit dissatisfied with the DeviantArt community as a whole. It bothers me when I open an account whose gallery is filled with senseless fanart involving poorly drawn and ripped off cartoon characters in erotic situations, and finding that it's one of the most popular accounts on the site. Then, I go to some of my favorite artist's pages, artists who are extremely talented and capable of transmiting a deep message through their work, and they have but a fraction of the senseless fanartist's pageviews (please note that I'm not really dissatisfied with my own popularity, being as I suck at art and can't draw, so don't be all U WHINY LITTLE ATTENTION SEEKING GIT or something like that plz) It also gets to me that a person can pour their heart and soul into a meaningful work, spend hours on its creation, and then get a deluge of hardly lukewarm "omg dats soo prety!"'s as their only responces, devoid of even the most vague analysis or suggestion. That's just not what I look for in an art community.

3. I'm busy. Like, really busy. I have tons of homework to contend with every night, I'm a jazz saxophonist, I'm learning piano, I take Driver's Education nearly daily after school, and I'm on the school tennis team. I barely have time to relax and draw anymore.
